➪ Kanti Velugu :
The Telangana Kanti Velugu Scheme is an initiative launched by the Government of Telangana to provide free eye care services to all the citizens of the state. The primary objective of the scheme is to prevent blindness and to provide early detection and treatment of eye-related problems.
Under this scheme, the government conducts a comprehensive eye screening program in all the districts of the state. The screening program is conducted in multiple phases and is aimed at identifying people with eye problems at an early stage.
After the screening, the people who require further medical attention are referred to the nearest government hospital or eye care center for treatment. The scheme also provides free spectacles to those who need them.
➪ Mission Kakatiya :
Telangana Mission Kakatiya is a flagship program launched by the Government of Telangana in 2014 to rejuvenate and restore the water bodies and tanks in the state. The main objective of the program is to restore the water bodies to their original capacity and to ensure that they remain functional in the long run.
The program aims to restore around 46,531 tanks across the state and revive the traditional water harvesting methods. The restoration process includes desilting, deepening, and strengthening of tanks, as well as the repair of sluices and channels.
The program also includes the construction of new tanks and the revival of the old ones. The government provides financial assistance and technical support to the farmers and local communities for the maintenance of the water bodies.
➪ Mission Bhagiratha :
Telangana Mission Bhagiratha is a flagship program launched by the Government of Telangana in 2016 to provide safe and piped drinking water to all the households in the state. The main objective of the program is to provide clean and safe drinking water to all the rural and urban households in the state.
Under this program, the government is constructing pipelines, water treatment plants, and storage tanks to provide safe drinking water to all the households in the state. The program also aims to provide water supply to public places like schools, hospitals, and anganwadis.
➪ Haritha Haram :
Telangana Haritha Haram is a flagship program launched by the Government of Telangana in 2015 to increase the green cover in the state. The main objective of the program is to plant around 230 crore saplings across the state to increase the green cover and to promote ecological balance.
Under this program, the government has identified lands for planting saplings, and the plantation drive is being conducted in a phased manner. The program is being implemented with the help of various departments, including Forest, Rural Development, Municipal Administration, and Panchayat Raj.
The Telangana Haritha Haram program aims to increase the green cover in the state from the current 24% to 33% by planting various species of saplings. The program also aims to promote awareness among the people about the importance of afforestation and to encourage them to participate in the plantation drives.
➪ Kalyana Lakshmi :
Telangana Kalyana Lakshmi Scheme is a welfare program launched by the Government of Telangana in 2014 to provide financial assistance to brides from economically backward sections of the society. The main objective of the program is to help the families of the brides to meet the expenses of the wedding and to promote gender equality and empowerment.
Under this program, the government provides financial assistance of Rs. 1,00,116 to the brides from economically backward sections of the society. The assistance is given to the bride's family to meet the expenses of the wedding, including clothing, jewelry, and other necessary items.
➪ Rythu Bandhu :
Telangana Rythu Bandhu Scheme is a welfare program launched by the Government of Telangana in 2018 to provide financial assistance to farmers in the state. The main objective of the program is to provide financial support to farmers to meet the expenses of agriculture and to promote sustainable agriculture practices.
Under this program, the government provides financial assistance of Rs. 10,000 per acre per year to all the farmers in the state. The assistance is given to the farmers in two installments, one in the Kharif season and the other in the Rabi season.
The scheme is available for all the farmers in the state who are cultivating land. The scheme has been implemented through the e-pass system, and the application process is available online.
➪ Dalitha Bandhu :
Telangana Dalitha Bandhu Scheme is a welfare program launched by the Government of Telangana in 2021 to provide financial assistance to the Scheduled Caste (SC) entrepreneurs in the state. The main objective of the program is to promote entrepreneurship among the SC community and to enable them to start their own businesses.
Under this program, the government provides financial assistance of up to Rs. 10 lakh to the eligible SC entrepreneurs to start their own businesses. The assistance is provided in the form of a subsidy or a grant, depending on the nature of the business.
➪ Rythu Bheema :
The Telangana Rythu Bheema Scheme is an agricultural welfare scheme launched by the government of Telangana in India. The scheme aims to provide insurance cover to farmers in the state against various types of natural calamities, including floods, drought, and other crop losses.
Under the Rythu Bheema Scheme, farmers are provided with life insurance coverage of Rs. 5 lakh in case of accidental death or disability. Additionally, the scheme also covers death due to natural causes, such as heart attacks and illnesses, with coverage ranging from Rs. 2.5 lakh to Rs. 5 lakh, depending on the age of the farmer.
The Telangana government has implemented the scheme through the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), which provides the insurance coverage. The premium for the insurance is paid by the state government on behalf of the farmers.
➪ Aasara Pension:
This scheme provides financial assistance to senior citizens, widows, and disabled individuals. The beneficiaries receive a monthly pension ranging from Rs. 2016 to Rs. 3,016, depending on their category.
➪ KCR Kits:
This scheme aims to improve maternal and child health by providing essential items to pregnant women and newborns. The kits contain items such as baby clothes, blankets, and diapers, as well as nutritional supplements for mothers.

➪ Sheep Distribution :
The Telangana government has launched a scheme called the "Sheep Distribution Scheme" to provide livelihood support to poor and marginalized communities in rural areas of the state. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to sheep and goat farmers to help them increase their income and improve their standard of living.
Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries are provided with 20 sheep or goats along with a unit cost of Rs. 1.25 lakhs as financial assistance. The beneficiaries are also given training in sheep and goat rearing techniques and are provided with veterinary support to ensure the health and well-being of the animals.
➪ Double Bedroom :
The Telangana government has launched a scheme called the "Double Bedroom Housing Scheme" to provide affordable housing to eligible families in the state. The scheme aims to provide a dignified living space for families who are currently living in inadequate housing conditions.
Under this scheme, eligible beneficiaries are provided with a two-bedroom house with a plinth area of 560 square feet. The houses are constructed using high-quality materials and are equipped with basic amenities such as water supply, electricity, and sanitation facilities. The beneficiaries can choose the design of their house from a set of pre-approved designs.
