Nagarjuna Sagar Dam: This is one of the largest dams on the Krishna River in Telangana. It is located in the Nalgonda district of the state and is a multipurpose project built for irrigation, hydropower generation, and drinking water supply. The Nagarjuna Sagar Dam has a capacity of 408 TMC and is a joint project between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Srisailam Dam:
This dam is located in the Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh, but a large part of its reservoir is in Telangana. It is a multipurpose project built on the Krishna River and is mainly used for hydropower generation, irrigation, and drinking water supply. The Srisailam Dam has a capacity of 215 TMC, and its power station has a capacity of 1,670 MW.

Pulichintala Dam:
This dam is located in the Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh, but its reservoir is in Telangana. It is a multipurpose project built on the Krishna River for irrigation, drinking water supply, and hydropower generation. The Pulichintala Dam has a capacity of 45.77 TMC and can generate up to 120 MW of power.
